How Do I Access the Medicare Urgent Care Clinic on the Gold Coast?

We are excited to announce that the Our Medical Gold Coast onsite Medicare Urgent Care Clinic is now open. This clinic is open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm, including public holidays.

All the care that is provided at the Gold Coast Medicare UCC is Medicare bulk billed, so there are no out of pocket costs for Medicare card holders.

The Gold Coast Medicare Urgent Care Clinic is located at 2 Leo Graham Way, Oxenford QLD 4210. Be sure to bring your Medicare card details.

No appointment or referral is required, simply walk in and wait for one of our highly trained medical professionals to see you.

While the clinic aims to reduce strain on hospitals and emergency departments, it is important to note that it is not a replacement for these services.

If you or a loved one has a life-threatening injury or illness, do not attend an urgent care clinic. Call triple zero (000) or go to your nearest emergency department.

Do not attend an urgent care clinic for:

  • Chest pain or tightness
  • Breathing difficulties
  • Uncontrollable bleeding
  • Severe burns
  • Poisoning
  • Numbness or paralysis
  • Unconscious, unresponsive, or having seizures
  • Ongoing fever in infants
  • Mental health issues

What Can I Come to the Gold Coast Urgent Care Clinic for?

You may visit the Gold Coast Medicare UCC when you are in need of medical attention for an injury or illness that can be managed without going to the emergency department. This includes:

Minor injury:

  • Wound / laceration
  • Burn or scald
  • Fall or suspected fracture/sprain
  • Insect or animal bites [excludes snake bites]
  • Foreign bodies

Minor illness:

  • Fever / respiratory symptoms
  • Vomiting and/or diarrhoea
  • Rashes
  • Urinary symptoms
  • Swelling / pain
  • Ear, eye, and/or nose issues
