Our Medical Annerley is bulk billing made exceptional.
We offer bulk billing to all patients holding a Medicare card, so there is no out of pocket cost for most GP services. Fees apply to those patients who do not hold a Medicare card and for some consultation types such as pre-employment medicals and work-related injuries.
For non-urgent medical treatment outside of our operating hours, existing patients can call 13SICK (13 7425) .
In the event of a major emergency day or night such as chest pain, breathing difficulties or a serious accident, patients should call 000 immediately.
COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer, Pfizer Bivalent, Pfizer Paediatrics, Moderna Bivalent & Novavax) are available at Our Medical Annerley. Boosters are available, including the new XBB 1.5 vaccination.
No appointment required. Patients can simply walk-in between 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
Our Medical Dental offers general, emergency and cosmetic dental. Open 6 days, including some evening appointments.
Jessica Wolff is the onsite dietitian at Our Medical Annerley and is available on Thursday mornings.

Daniel Karagiannis is the Exercise Physiologist at Our Medical Annerley, and is available for consults every alternative Wednesday.
Daniel is highly skilled at developing exercise plans based on an individuals’ needs, abilities and lifestyle, as well as providing tailored lifestyle modification advice to assist in improving overall physical and mental health outcomes.
Exercise physiology consults for patients with an active EPC plan are Medicare bulk billed. Otherwise a private fee will apply (health fund rebate may be applicable).

Free flu vaccines now available at Our Medical Annerley for Our Medical Membership Program members aged 5-64. Government funded free flu vaccines for children aged between 6 months and 5 years, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from 6 months, pregnant women, people aged 65 or over, and people with specific medical conditions are also available. If you have a chronic illness, you may also be eligible for the free Government flu vaccination, please discuss this with your GP.
No appointment necessary. To receive the free flu vaccine, check-in to see a bulk billing GP at the centre using the Our Medical app.
For patients who don’t have a Medicare card, the vaccine is still free, however, patients will need to pay the standard private fee for the GP consultation.
So that you can plan your next visit, the rosters for our network of GPs are available in the Our Medical app - available on the App Store or the Google Play Store.
The real-time calendar will display the dates, start and finish times that every one of the doctors is working. You can also see which GPs are rostered on a particular day. Available up to two weeks in advance.
An appointment is not required to see a GP at Our Medical Annerley. Simply walk in to see the next available doctor, or the doctor of your choice. No limits will be placed on the consultation type or duration. Emergency patients will be given priority.
Some doctors at Our Medical Annerley are available for home visits for regular patients, when such visits are considered safe, reasonable and necessary, which will be determined by the doctor.
To make an enquiry about home visits during standard operating hours, please speak to your regular GP.
In addition to COVID and flu vaccines, Our Medical Annerley offers childhood immunisations and travel vaccines.
Childhood immunisations are administered in the treatment room between 8am and 6pm Monday to Thursday, and between 8am to 8pm from Friday to Sunday.
The following private vaccines are also held in stock:
- Hepatitis A & Hepatitis B - Twinrix
- Hepatitis B - Engerix B
- Whooping cough - Boostrix
All other private vaccines are available via a script from the GP and purchase at the chemist. Patients can then return to the centre to have the vaccine administered in the treatment room.
Medical Certificates are available from Our Sage from $19.
The best form of general practice is face to face, however for when an in-person consult is not available, Our Sage is the next best alternative. Our Sage provides access to privately-billed telehealth consults (no Medicare rebate) from 7am to 11pm every day of the year.
The Our Medical Membership Program rewards and recognises all patients through member benefits.

If Our Medical Annerley is your regular general practice, we encourage you to register for MyMedicare. You can register via your Medicare Online Account or Express Plus Medicare Mobile app.
For ease of check-in, new patients to Our Medical should download the Our Medical app from the Apple App Store or Google Play before coming into the centre.
- Download the Our Medical app
- Sign up as a NEW patient via the app, making sure you have your up-to-date Medicare card and Concession card (if applicable) details to complete the new patient registration.
Once you have signed up as a patient via the Our Medical app, you will be able to check yourself in to see a GP as soon as you have arrived at the centre. Simply select the “GP check in” icon in the app and follow the prompts.
Parents and caregivers should log-in as themselves so they can manage any dependants through the one app. This includes checking children in to see a GP on arrival.
A message will appear on the app, once you have logged in, at times when the centre has reached capacity and can no longer see any more patients. Please check before coming into the centre.
Undercover parking for patients is available via ramp access at the medical centre. Street parking is also available directly out the front of the medical centre, outside of clearway hours.
4cyte Pathology at Our Medical Annerley is open from 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and from 8:00am to 1.00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Pathology is open at weekend hours on public holidays.
No appointment is required. Simply walk-in with your referral to see the pathology collector during opening hours. Most pathology services are bulk billed with a GP referral.
Patients will receive an SMS from the medical centre when the results are back. On receipt of this SMS, please come back in to the medical centre to discuss the results with the referring doctor.

Pharmacy at Our Medical Annerley is now open, open every day until 10pm. This makes it easy for Our Medical Annerley patients to collect their prescription or medicines, if required, after a consultation with a GP. Our Medical Annerley Pharmacy can be contacted on 07 3709 7585.
Andrew Roberts is the physiotherapist at Our Medical Home Annerley. He offers physio appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Our Medical Annerley has a podiatrist on-site on Wednesdays from 8am to 4pm.
Medicare EPC plans and Gold DVA cards are accepted. These consult types attract a Medicare rebate but the consult will not be Medicare bulk billed (i.e. there will be some out-of-pocket cost). A valid referral is required from your GP at the time of your consult.
Where a Medicare rebate isn’t applicable, pensioner discounts are available and health fund rebates may apply.

As of 1 November, a new and more effective shingles vaccine is available for those most at risk of having complications from shingles.
This vaccine will be free for:
- People aged 65 years and older
- First Nations people aged 50 years and older
- Immunocompromised people aged 18 years and older with medical conditions including:
- Haemopoietic stem cell transplant
- Solid organ transplant
- Haematological malignancy
- Advanced or untreated HIV.
Vaccine supplies are limited, please check with reception for availability.

Telehealth is not currently available at Our Medical Annerley. Please come in to see a GP for a bulk billed consultation. No appointment required.
Telehealth is only offered to COVID positive patients. In these cases please call the medical centre. A confirmation of positive test result will be required to request a telehealth consult. Patients will also need to have attended the medical centre in-person within the last 12 months to be eligible.
Patients might also consider using Our Sage telehealth services, which provides access to privately-billed telehealth consults (no Medicare rebate) from 7am to 11pm every day of the year. This service is available for new and existing patients, Medicare and non-Medicare card holders.
Unless you are calling in relation to a medical emergency, your Doctor will be unable to speak to you whilst consulting with another patient. Our Receptionists will pass on a message and the Doctor will return the call when time permits. Requests for prescriptions, referrals or the results from any tests or investigations cannot be given over the phone, unless part of a telehealth consultation with your GP.
We do not accept correspondence by fax. All patient health information needs to be exchanged securely via electronic messaging, such as HealthLink (EDI code ourmedan), Medical Objects, Argus etc. Please phone us for integration details.
