No appointment required for patients aged 5+. Patients can simply walk-in between 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm to 5pm on Sundays.

In the event of a major emergency day or night such as chest pain, breathing difficulties or a serious accident, patients should call 000 immediately.

An appointment is not required to see a GP at Our Medical Ashmore. Simply walk in to see the next available doctor, or the doctor of your choice. No limits are placed on the consultation type or duration. Emergency patients will be given priority.
So that you can plan your next visit, the rosters for our network of GPs are available in the Our Medical app - available on the App Store or the Google Play Store.
The real-time calendar will display the dates, start and finish times that every one of the doctors is working. You can also see which GPs are rostered on a particular day. Available up to two weeks in advance.
The best form of general practice is face to face, however for when an in-person consult is not available, Our Sage is the next best alternative. Our Sage provides access to privately-billed telehealth consults (no Medicare rebate) from 7am to 11pm every day of the year.

- Download the Our Medical app
- Sign up as a NEW patient via the app, making sure you have your up-to-date Medicare card and Concession card (if applicable) details to complete the new patient registration.
Once you have signed up as a patient via the Our Medical app, you will be able to check yourself in to see a GP as soon as you have arrived at the centre. Simply select the “GP check in” icon in the app and follow the prompts.
Parents and caregivers should log-in as themselves so they can manage any dependants through the one app. This includes checking children in to see a GP on arrival.
A message will appear on the app, once you have logged in, at times when the centre has reached capacity and can no longer see any more patients. Please check before coming into the centre.
4cyte Pathology delivers pathology services to Our Medical Ashmore patients as well as walk-in patients. To contact 4cyte directly, call 13 42 98.
This pathology service is open from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday and from 8am to 2pm on weekends and public holidays.
No appointment is required. Simply walk-in with your referral to see the pathology collector during opening hours. Most pathology services are bulk billed with a GP referral.
4cyte Pathology also offers Holter Monitor Tests, Blood Pressure Monitor Tests and Glucose Tolerance Tests by appointment.
Our Medical Ashmore has on-site physiotherapists, Andrew Ibraheem, Corjit Clark & Lucas Leung. Appointments available Monday to Friday.
Consults Medicare bulk-billed for EPC patients. For private patients, fees apply. Health fund rebates are available.
Opening in 2023, Our Medical Radiology will offer bulk-billed radiology services including x-ray, ultrasound and CT scans.
As of 1 November, a new and more effective shingles vaccine is available for those most at risk of having complications from shingles.
This vaccine will be free for:
- People aged 65 years and older
- First Nations people aged 50 years and older
- Immunocompromised people aged 18 years and older with medical conditions including:
- Haemopoietic stem cell transplant
- Solid organ transplant
- Haematological malignancy
- Advanced or untreated HIV.
Vaccine supplies are limited, please check with reception for availability.
Our Medical is open every day for skin checks. Come in to see a bulk billing GP for a routine skin check.
Dr Ki Pang and Dr Wali Kamali also run skin cancer clinics at Our Medical Ashmore by appointment.
Telehealth GP consults are not available at Our Medical Ashmore. Please attend the medical centre in person for a consult with a GP.
Telehealth is only offered to COVID positive patients. In these cases please call the medical centre. A confirmation of positive test result will be required to request a telehealth consult. Patients will also need to have attended the medical centre in-person within the last 12 months to be eligible.
Patients might also consider using Our Sage telehealth services, which provides access to privately-billed telehealth consults (no Medicare rebate) from 7am to 11pm every day of the year. This service is available to new and existing patients, Medicare and non-Medicare card holders.
Unless you are calling in relation to a medical emergency your doctor will be unable to speak to you whilst consulting with another patient. Our receptionists will pass on a message and the Doctor will return the call when time permits. Requests for results, prescriptions and referrals will not be taken. You will need to attend the medical centre. Telephone messages are sent through to individual doctors via the software system. Practice emails are viewed daily and allocated to the appropriate provider electronically.
We do not accept correspondence by fax. All patient health information needs to be exchanged securely via electronic messaging, such as HealthLink (EDI code ourmedic), Medical Objects, Fetch, GIG Viewer etc. Please phone us for integration details.
Our Medical Ashmore is wheelchair-friendly with accessible parking and bathrooms. There is a lift to the second level to access physiotherapy services and our dental clinic.
