Shukri Abi offers audiology services at Our Medical Williams Landing. Shukri has over 18 years clinical experience, specialising in adults with complex hearing. She is passionate about all things hearing technology, can support with custom hearing solutions and solves real world hearing problems to enhance patient's lives.
Hearing assessments at Our Medical Williams Landing are Medicare Bulk Billed (meaning no out-of-pocket costs) for Medicare card holders, DVA, Workcover and TAC patients. Patients should speak to their GP for a referral. A GP referral is required for the audiology consult to be bulk billed.
For non-Medicare patients and for audiology services that aren't listed on the MBS, a $100 private fee will apply for a standard consult and $200 private fee for a long consult.

We offer bulk billing to patients holding a Medicare card, so there is no out-of-pocket cost for most GP services. Fees apply to patients who do not hold a Medicare card and for some consultation types such as pre-employment medicals and work-related injuries.

Mr Karim Fawzi is the Diabetes Educator and Consultant Pharmacist at Our Medical Williams Landing. In addition to English, Karim also speaks Arabic.
Karim provides consultations between 10am and 2pm every Friday.
Private consult fees with the diabetes Educator are $75 (Private Health Fund rebates may apply). Consults for patients with an active EPC plan are Medicare bulk billed.

Free flu vaccines are now available at Our Medical Williams Landing for patients aged 5-64.
Government funded vaccines for children aged 6 months - 4 years and those aged 65+ are also available.
No appointment necessary.
To receive the free flu vaccine, simply come in and ask to see a bulk-billing GP.
For patients that don’t have a Medicare card, the vaccine is still free, however patients will need to pay the standard private fee for the GP consultation.
We are located directly opposite Williams Landing Shopping Centre with free undercover parking accessible via Tonkin Way. This carpark provides direct access to the medical centre.
We’re also a short walk from Williams Landing Train Station.
An appointment is not required to see a GP at Our Medical Williams Landing. Simply walk in to see the next available doctor, or the doctor of your choice. No limits are placed on the consultation type or duration. Emergency presentations will be given priority.

So that you can plan your next visit, the rosters for our network of GPs are available in the Our Medical app - available on the App Store or the Google Play Store.
The real-time calendar will display the dates, start and finish times that every one of the doctors is working. You can also see which GPs are rostered on a particular day. Available up to two weeks in advance.
Medical Certificates are available from Our Sage from $19.
The best form of general practice is face to face, however for when an in-person consult is not available, Our Sage is the next best alternative. Our Sage provides access to privately-billed telehealth consults (no Medicare rebate) from 7am to 11pm every day of the year.
If Our Medical Williams Landing is your regular general practice, we encourage you to register for MyMedicare. You can register via your Medicare Online Account or Express Plus Medicare Mobile app.
Note: the centre is listed as "Our Medical Williams Landing" in MyMedicare, not Our Medical Home Williams Landing.
For ease of check-in, new patients to Our Medical should download the Our Medical app from the Apple App Store or Google Play before coming into the centre.

- Sign up as a NEW patient via the app, making sure you have your up-to-date Medicare card and Concession card (if applicable) details to complete the new patient registration.
Once you have signed up as a patient via the Our Medical app, you will be able to check yourself in to see a GP as soon as you have arrived at the centre. Simply select the “GP check in” icon in the app and follow the prompts.
Parents and caregivers should log-in as themselves so they can manage any dependants through the one app. This includes checking children in to see a GP on arrival.
A message will appear on the app, once you have logged in, at times when the centre has reached capacity and can no longer see any more patients. Please check before coming into the centre.
International visitors or students with health funds may contact reception to get an estimate on the cost of a GP consultation.
4cyte Pathology delivers pathology services to Our Medical Williams Landing patients as well as walk-in patients. This pathology service is open 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 12.30pm Saturday and Sunday. Pathology is closed on public holidays.
Most pathology services are bulk billed with a GP referral.
Our Medical Williams Landing patients will receive an SMS from the medical centre when the results are back. On receipt of this SMS, please come back in to the medical centre to discuss the results with the referring doctor.

Ralph Perez is the physiotherapist at Our Medical Williams Landing. Ralph offers consultations on Mondays through to Saturdays.
Ralph graduated from The University of Queensland with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies in 2017 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science in Toronto, Canada. He has a focus on musculoskeletal physiotherapy specifically back pain, neck pain, sporting injuries, osteoarthritis and chronic pain management.
Private consult fees with the physio are $105 for an initial consult and $90 for a follow up consult. Health fund rebates may apply.
Physio consults for patients with an active EPC plan are Medicare bulk billed.

As of 1 November, a new and more effective shingles vaccine is available for those most at risk of having complications from shingles.
This vaccine will be free for:
- People aged 65 years and older
- First Nations people aged 50 years and older
- Immunocompromised people aged 18 years and older with medical conditions including:
- Haemopoietic stem cell transplant
- Solid organ transplant
- Haematological malignancy
- Advanced or untreated HIV.
Vaccine supplies are limited, please check with reception for availability.

Telehealth is currently only available to patients who have tested positive to COVID-19. Patients can organise a telehealth consultation by calling reception. Patients will need to have have attended the medical centre in-person within the last 12 months to be eligible for a telehealth consult.
All other patients should come in to see a GP for a bulk billed consultation. No appointment required.
Patients might also consider using Our Sage telehealth services, which provides access to privately-billed telehealth consults (no Medicare rebate) from 7am to 11pm every day of the year. Our Sage offers telehealth services to new and existing patients, Medicare and non-Medicare card holders.
Unless you are calling in relation to a medical emergency, your Doctor will be unable to speak to you whilst consulting with another patient. Our Receptionists will pass on a message and the Doctor will return the call when time permits. Requests for prescriptions, referrals or the results from any tests or investigations cannot be given over the phone.
We do not accept correspondence by fax. All patient health information needs to be exchanged securely via electronic messaging, such as HealthLink (EDI code ourmedhw), Medical Objects, Fetch, GIG Viewer etc. Please phone us for integration details.
An automated SMS is sent to all pathology patients once the results have been received by the Doctor. Only when the medical centre sends an SMS to the patient are the results ready to be discussed.
If you have not received an SMS from the medical centre with your test results in 5 days, please contact reception.
You will be required to return to the centre to discuss these results as part of a consultation. If your urgent attendance is required to discuss a result your doctor will arrange for you to be contacted.
We may also send reminder notices via mail, SMS or email in relation to preventative healthcare. If you do not wish to receive these communications, please advise our reception team.
The Williams Landing Wellness Clinic, located at Our Medical Williams Landing, provides wellness checks and comprehensive assessments for those aged 50 and over and for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people aged 35 and over.
Wellness checks include heart health assessments, oral and nutrition assessments, grip strength and frailty assessments, peripheral vascular disease assessments, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and other routine exams such as height, weight, blood pressure and heart rate.
The Wellness Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. The service is FREE to everyone; however, you must have Medicare and be a regular patient of a GP at Williams Landing to receive a heart health assessment. No GP referral is needed to visit the Wellness Clinic.
